FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question 1. Is this site really free or are there hidden fees?
Answer 1. This site is provided as a public service and is  free. There are no hidden costs to collectors. The revenue derived from paid advertisements is used to pay the cost of
internet site development, credit service charges, and ongoing provider maintenance fees.

Question 2. How can I actively support the site and contribute?
Answer 2. Support is encouraged and needed in several areas:

---Writers are welcomed (see pages of The Postcard Journal),

---Advertisers
are encouraged to place ads on our pages.
Paid Ads may be placed only on these pages:
    I want to Buy Postcards,

    I want to Sell Postcards,
    Postcard Dealers,
    Postcard Auctions,

    Postcard Books
    Overseas Resources

Question 3. Why are there several locations where I must leave your site and be transferred to a different location?
Answer 3. Site Transfers are used when we find a pre-existing site that will not permit us to copy their information. In those cases we credit the other site and transfer you easily using the hidden technical process of a hyperlink.

Question 4. Are all of your pages shown in the navigation system?
Answer 4. No. Because of the size and complexity of our site, our navigation system only lists the major pages. Having chosen one of these pages, you will frequently encounter additional pages (sub-pages) on the same topic ie. The major page, US Postcard Chronology has two fine, not to be missed, sub-pages; Pioneer Postcards and Detailed Chronology.

We also host Home pages for several Postcard Clubs including:
Birmingham Postcard Club, AL
San Diego Post Card Club, CA
Denver Post Card Club, CO
Bay State, MA
Cape Cod, MA
Pine Tree, ME
Granite, NH
Rockland-Bergen, NY
They may all be accessed using the Clubs Page.
